This namespace is used for qualified identifiers to represent Healthcare Support Service Provider for Organisations (HSP-O) numbers.

An example of the syntax of a HSP-O represented as a qualified identifer using this namespace is: http://ns.electronichealth.net.au/id/hi/hspo/1.0/800364xxxxyyyyyz where:

  • xxxx is '1000' to '1009' and is the resource management partition.
  • yyyyyyyyy is issued by the system operator
  • z is the check digit derived using ISO/IEC 7812 across the 15-digit number
