Business Process Modelling (Process Flows)
Business Process Modelling is the practice of documenting an organisation’s key business processes in a manner which is:
- highly graphical,
- focuses on business terminology rather than technical and
- allows all business steps/tasks to be included, not just those which involve a computer system.
To begin with, look for existing current state process documentation, flows or maps within your organisation. This can confirm your current end-to-end process.
Pathology Process Flows
The following high-level process flows are provided to implementers as a starting point in understanding the pathways for uploading a document to My Health Record.
Implementers are encouraged to consider their own process flows and how they can be enhanced to incorporate the described high-level flow.
