Services Australia advises that the team known as ‘OTS Liaison’ has changed names and will now be known as ‘Developer Support’.

What this means for you

Developer Support will continue to be responsible for the Health Systems Developer Portal and can assist you with:

  • portal registrations
  • seeking test data to begin development, and
  • seeking production access for applications on completion of certification testing.

We will also continue to send business communications relating to Services Australia programs and the availability of ICT systems.

The OTS Helpdesk team and OTS Product Integration team have not changed.

  • OTS Helpdesk assists with the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues during the development and production phases. The team also engages other areas within the agency to seek a solution where required. For technical queries call 1300 550 115 or email [email protected].

The Medicines View Optimisation aims to reduce duplication by enhancing the interoperability between PBS - and AMT- coded items as well as enhancing existing grouping and ‘Differs Advisory’ logic. The implementation of the full PBS to AMT Map will also enable form and/or strength change advisories to be provided based on AMT codes rather than relying on PBS codes alone which may no longer be present. All changes have been implemented on the back-end logic and will have no impact on the User Interface. This will be released as part of the My Health Record Release 11 currently scheduled to go-live in early March 2020.

The Pharmacist Shared Medicines List (PSML) is a new clinical document type for the My Health Record system and will be released by the end of June 2019 as part of MHR Release 10.1.

The Australian Digital Health Agency has released the technical framework to support the implementation of electronic prescribing. This updates the preliminary technical framework documentation first distributed on 24 September 2019 (provided as drafts to software providers to give initial early access to the technical framework). Changes to Commonwealth legislation from 31 October 2019 now recognise an electronic prescription as a legal form authorising medicines supply.
