Background: This document describes the logical model for the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register document type.

The content within this document provides reviewers with the necessary information to evaluate and assess the clinical suitability of the Australian Childhood Immunisation Registers document type.

It is also a key input to the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register CDA Implementation Guide, which describes how to implement the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register document type using the HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (CDA).
