Shared Health Summary - Release Note v1.4.2

This incremental release of the Shared Health Summary end product updates supplementary guidance for the implementation of Shared Health Summary documents, representing a key outcome of the Agency’s Clinical Usability Programme (CUP) Release 1.

CUP Release 1 has been focused on resolving key usability issues with clinical information systems used by general practitioners. The guidance provided as part of this release represents the outcomes of several workshops with clinical consultation groups. Note that additional guidance resulting from CUP Release 1 is released as updates to other specification products, namely Common – Clinical Document v1.1.1 and PCEHR B2B Gateway Services.

This update of supplementary guidance is limited to the rephrasing of the information to be displayed by clinical systems prior to the submission of a Shared Health Summary document. The updated wording is based on guidance from the Commonwealth Department of Health.
