Australian Medicines Terminology v3 Model - Release Note v20140630

The Australian Medicines Terminology v3 Model v20140630 (AMT v20140630) is the first production release of the AMT in the v3 model structure and SNOMED CT  Release Format 2 specification (RF2).

The AMT v20140630 data files have been created using the May 2014 release - AMT v2.56 as baseline data for the transformation to v3 model. No additional products have been included.

This release of AMT includes products that became available on the Schedule of Pharmaceutical Benefits including the Repatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Schedule (RPBS) on 1 June 2014. Products that were listed on the PBS following this date will be included in the next AMT release.

This release note describes the current release of Australian Medicines Terminology (AMT) v2.56. The files provided within this release are listed and briefly described.

By operation of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability (Establishing the Australian Digital Health Agency) Rule 2016, on 1 July 2016, all the assets and liabilities of NEHTA will vest in the Australian Digital Health Agency. In this website, on and from 1 July 2016, all references to "National E-Health Transition Authority" or "NEHTA" will be deemed to be references to the Australian Digital Health Agency. PCEHR means the My Health Record, formerly the "Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record", within the meaning of the My Health Records Act 2012 (Cth), formerly called the Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records Act 2012 (Cth).
