Today the Australian Digital Health Agency is announcing the release of our mobile app, my health.
The app, powered by My Health Record, is a direct response to consumer expectations with our own research confirming that almost two thirds of Australians regularly use their mobile phones to access, share and manage health information. The app will place the information in My Health Record in the palm of consumers hands.
To enable this app, the Agency has updated the functional scope and capabilities of the My Health Record FHIR Gateway and today we’re making these available for you to use in your own mobile apps.
In addition, to support the exposure of a new API and the extra functionality listed below, new conformance criteria and contractual agreements will also be published in the Developer Centre.
Additional Capabilities
Changes are reflected in the updated Developer Centre welcome pack (a collection of forms and guides to help new and existing app developers connect to My Health Record).
This includes an updated Production Environment Access Request, updated Interoperability Requirements, updated Portal Operator Registration Agreement, new API functionality, and the option to share My Health Record documents from an app.
