This release of the end-product EP-4029:2024 provides the following updates:
DH-3941:2024 Electronic Prescribing – Medication Chart Prescribing Systems Conformance Profile v3.0.1 is being added to EP Conformance Technical Framework Documents on its effective date November 2024 to support the development of electronic prescribing for Medication Chart prescribing systems.
DH-3941:2024 Electronic Prescribing – Medication Chart Prescribing Systems Conformance Profile v3.0.1 includes the following important updates:
a. Removal of Direct PDS model requirements
b. Medication Chart Prescribing System requirements only
c. Minor changes to requirements/wording to address safety risks identified through the implementation of transitional eNRMC arrangements
d. Updated language to reflect NPDS
