GS1 Identification Keys in Transport & Logistics – GS1 Guideline

This implementation guideline focuses on the identification of locations, assets, logistic units and transport groupings. The guideline contains brief process descriptions, examples and overviews of the recommended GS1 Identification Keys for each scenario. It does not recommend the selection of the most appropriate data carrier (for example, barcode, radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag) for each scenario nor does it describe the eCom messages for sharing data.
