GS1 Pharmaceutical Image Implementation Guideline

This document provides a method of image naming for pharmaceutical products to help avoid errors and to increase efficiencies and minimise costs. Naming images using a global standardised convention allows for a higher level of security against inadvertent over-writing.

This document is designed to be used by both manufacturers and end users. It also sets a framework for any third-party providers that may service these groups.
