IHE Cardiology Technical Framework Supplement – Cardiac Procedure Note (CPN)

This supplementary resource provides a library of templates for various cardiac subspecialty procedure notes and clinical data exchange. This will enable cardiac procedure notes to be more easily shared between caregivers and systems, population-based research on procedure effectiveness, and harmonised data collection for procedural reports with data registries for data exchange. The resource focuses on catheterisation (cath) lab reports and electrophysiology implant and explant procedure reports intended for adult cardiac procedures. However, it aims to provide a framework for the addition of further report templates in future.
