IHE Cardiology Technical Framework Supplement – Electrophysiology Implant/Explant Report Content (EPRC-IE)

This supplementary resource aims to enable collection and distribution of the most clinically relevant data on electrophysiology implant/explant procedures common in cardiology. This will enable individual implant/explant procedure-related information to be more easily shared between caregivers and systems, enable population-based research on procedure effectiveness and provide the ability to interact with data registries for data exchange. The resource codifies representative areas of procedure indications, procedures, medications, observations, complications and findings for electrophysiology procedures and specifies how these data can be organised to be used by both care providers and automated data processing systems.
