An increasing number of clinicians have diagnostic imaging equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems in their offices. This supplementary resource introduces a new Image-Enabled Office Profile for the integration of an ambulatory office EHR system with an imaging suite. While it is a supplement to the IHE Cardiology Technical Framework Supplement, this resource is potentially applicable to any clinical domain that involves imaging, including radiology, oncology, obstetrics and gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and orthopaedics.
