This supplementary resource specifies the data structure and vocabulary for a submission to the National Cardiovascular Data Registry CathPCI Registry V4.4. It is aimed at the United States Realm.
The CathPCI Registry is a powerful tool that assesses the characteristics, treatments and outcomes of cardiac disease patients who receive diagnostic catheterisation and/or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures. It allows facilities to compare their outcomes with a national aggregate and a like group of similar annualised procedure volume facilities and supports facilities to document compliance with American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association Clinical Guidelines recommendations and performance measures.
