The Patient Location Tracking (PLT) Integration Profile supports finding a patient's physical location and mapping it to the service delivery location. It collects patient location information within a facility, and provides the patient's recently recognised location to other systems. It covers patient location tracking inside single facilities, not between 2 or more facilities. This profile standardises the transactions, records patients' locations, and provides the latest information when requested from external subsystems.
