The Secure Retrieve Profile defines a mechanism to convey authorisation decisions between actors in the community. This profile is limited to deployment models and policies where a central authorisation authority can make complete and definitive decisions, yet support federated identity and authentication. In these deployment models, no actors except the central authorisation authority need to know the fine-grain policies to enforce.
The supplement describes how to create a 'system of trust' between the actor that can perform authorisation decisions (on behalf of consent documents, policies and creation/access/disclosure rules) and actors that actually store clinical data and documents.
Main sections:
- Introduction
- Volume 1 - Profiles
- Volume 2 - Transactions
- Appendices
- Volume 3 - Content modules
- Volume 4 - National extensions
