This supplement to the Laboratory Technical Framework describes the Inter-Laboratory Workflow (ILW) Profile, which supports exchanges of test orders and observations between laboratories.
The ILW profile sets up a relationship between a requesting laboratory and a subcontracting laboratory that fulfils orders and sends results back to the requesting laboratory.
