This document defines transactions used in two of the profiles of the IHE Pathology and Laboratory Medicine domain: the Laboratory Testing Workflow Profile and the Laboratory Device Automation Profile. It defines Pathology and Laboratory Medicine transactions in detail, specifying the roles for each actor, the standards employed, the information exchanged, and in some cases, implementation options for the transaction.
