IHE Patient Care Coordination (PCC) Technical Framework Supplement: eNursing Summary

Transitions, or ‘hand-offs’, occur multiple times each day in a hospital and at every change of care location. The eNursing Summary (ENS) profile develops data sets related to a specific clinical environment as a process to create safe, effective communication. The process ensures continuity as the patient moves through care transitions.
