This is a supplement to the IHE Patient Care Coordination Technical Framework V7.0. It defines the Postpartum Visit Summary (PPVS) profile, which captures any episode of treatment occurring during the postpartum period. This includes any care the woman receives after she has been discharged from the hospital or birthing facility, up to and including the postpartum visit.
