This supplement to the Patient Care Device Technical Framework describes the Retrospective Data Query (RDQ) Profile, which allows clinicians to flexibly request information from retrospective stores of clinical data to support clinical decision-making.
The RDQ can be used to compile reports on individuals or multiple patients at once and can include all retrospective data or that collected within a specific time interval. Sources for this retrospective clinical data include electronic medical records, patient care device gateways, individual medical devices and data marts.
