This white paper describes recommendations on how to transform IHE Structured Data Capture (SDC) forms into FHIR resources that can be used for a variety of use cases. This includes pre-population of clinical data in forms, display of data in patient portals and data analytics. As this is a white paper, none of these recommendations are normative, but do provide guidance on some best practices when converting data to FHIR from IHE SDC.
