This document describes the Birth and Fetal Death Reporting-Enhanced (BFDR-E) Profile, which provides a way to capture and communicate the information needed to report births and fetal deaths for vital registration purposes.
BFDR-E defines a specialised Labour and Delivery Summary document, an FHIR query and 2 mechanisms to exchange birth and fetal death information in a standard format.
