IHE Quality, Research and Public Health Technical Framework Supplement - Birth and Fetal Death Reporting: Labor and Delivery Summary for Vital Records (BFDR-LDS-VR)

This document describes the Birth and Fetal Death Reporting-Labor and Delivery Summary for Vital Records (BFDR-LDS-VR) Profile, which provides a way to capture and communicate the information needed to report births and fetal deaths for vital registration purposes.

BFDR-LDS-VR defines a specialised Labour and Delivery Summary (LDS-VR) document. The LDS-VR is used to prepopulate an electronic form that collects the information needed for submission to vital records according to specified prepopulation rules.
