The LOINC/RSNA (Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes/Radiological Society of North America) Playbook User Guide combines and unifies the useful aspects of LOINC Radiology and the RSNA RadLex Playbook. Both of those documents are designed to represent concepts of radiology orderables and results and their attributes.
Each term in the unified Playbook model takes on a number of attributes. This guide describes the semantics, syntax and proper use of those attributes. The attributes are used as building blocks to construct several types of standard names, including a fully specified name, long name and short name.
Main sections:
· Codes and workflows
· Syntax
· Modality
· Anatomic location
· View
· Timing
· Manoeuvre
· Pharmaceutical
· Reason for exam
· Guidance
· Subject
