This document describes the e-health architecture principles that can guide the development of interoperable e-health architecture in Australia. It supports the delivery of systems that are interoperable, flexible and fit for purpose.
The e-health architecture principles are structured according to recommendations in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). They inform the general IT and interoperability principles set out in SA HB 137-2013, E-health Interoperability Framework.
