Supplement 222: Microscopy Bulk Simple Annotations Storage SOP Class

This resource specifies a new information object and storage service-object pair (SOP) class for storing microscopy bulk simple annotations, referred to as the microscopy bulk simple annotations information object definition (IOD). Microscopy bulk simple annotations are usually created by machine algorithms from high resolution images of entire tissue sections. The IOD encodes microscopy bulk simple annotations as a collection of points, closed polygons, open polylines and simple geometric shapes without relationships.
