Supplement 245: RDSR Informative Annex

This supplement provides explanatory information to the DICOM Standard on the creation and usage of Radiation Dose Structured Report (RDSR) within modalities such as angiography, mammography, radiography, CT, and dentistry. This supplement excludes Radiopharmaceutical and Patient Radiation Dose SR.

This supplement gives more information beyond the definitions in PS3.16. It describes real-world scenarios of typical equipment configurations, and provides examples and encoding guidelines. It also indicates restrictions on the applicable scenarios. For particular scenarios, it promotes use of optional Content Items and assesses the applicability for some conditional Content Items.
