HL7 Consumer Mobile Health Application Functional Framework (cMHAFF), Release 1

The Consumer Mobile Health Functional Framework provides a standard to assess a mobile health app’s foundational characteristics against. It covers characteristics such as security, privacy, data access, data export, and transparency and disclosure of conditions. The standard is primarily directed at developers and vendors of apps for consumers. It is also directed at organisations that will assess or endorse apps for conformance to essential criteria and prospective purchasers of apps (for example, consumers, and providers on behalf of consumers).
