The HL7 EHR-System Functional Model provides a reference list of functions that may be present in an Electronic Health Record System (EHR-S).
This release builds on the previous release (Release 1.1) of the model, offering a more comprehensive set of functions and criteria. It provides an international standard for global use, supports interoperability, and enables a consistent framework for the development of profiles which are conformant to the base model.
