HL7 EHRS-FM Release 2: Immunization Functional Profile, Release 1

This functional profile describes functional characteristics and conformance criteria that support immunisation management and administration in clinical practice. This includes functions for interaction with immunisation registries, for immunisation history and forecast, for reconciliation of immunisation administration over time, for immunisation (vaccine) inventory management, supplements for patient educational material, and for adverse event recording and reporting.

This functional profile is made up of the components: Overarching (OV), Care Provision (CP), Care Provision Support (CPS), Administration Support (AS), Record Infrastructure (RI), and Trust Infrastructure (TI).
