This document is informed by the Behavioral Health Domain Analysis project, which evaluated the currency and comprehensiveness of Health Level 7 (HL7) Behavioral Health and Social Service standards against requirements in the United States and internationally.

This domain analysis model supports the development of data exchange and quality reporting between behavioural health providers and behavioural health and primary care providers. It describes the requirements and constraints to support the implementation of behavioural health data exchange.

This release aims to:

· improve the health of at-risk populations by improving care coordination between specialty behavioural health, primary care, and related human services providers, through systems interoperability
