The Trauma Registry Data Submission (TRDS) Domain Analysis Model (DAM) is a conceptual-level model depicting the behaviours and information content involved in the submission of trauma-related encounter data from participating hospitals to the National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB). The NTDB is operated by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACSCOT). The TRDS DAM is expressed using the unified modelling language (UML). It has 2 major components: a behavioural model (use cases, activities and exchanges) and an information model (classes, datatypes and value sets).
