Purpose:
The Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods Identification (ARTG ID) reference set, is a component of the AMT (and SNOMED CT-AU). Its purpose is to link medicines and other therapeutic goods to their corresponding entries in the ARTG.

This reference set linkage allows healthcare professionals, researchers, and regulatory authorities to retrieve and analyse accurate and up-to-date information about registered therapeutic goods, including details such as their formulation, indications, dosage forms, and regulatory status.
