The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) is charged with developing digital health strategy at the national level for Australia. The Agency is responsible for the delivery of digital health priorities including; driving information sharing, improving connectivity and real time data sharing, and modernising national infrastructure.
As part of the Agency’s role they are responsible for My Health Record, Australia's digital prescriptions and health referral system, and other e-health programs under the national digital health strategy. To support the delivery of these important programs, the Agency defines standards and specifications that enable data to be shared to and from national infrastructure systems.
