The My Health Record System Operator advises there will be planned maintenance to the My Health Record system Software Vendor Test (SVT) environment on Tuesday 18 August 2020 from 6:00PM – 9:00PM (AEST). The SVT environment will be unavailable throughout the duration of this window.

Priority 2 incident - SVT incident restored 

The System Operator would like to advise that the My Health Record system Software Vendor Test environment experienced a degradation of service and apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused.

During the degradation of service, software vendors would have experienced errors accessing the Software Vendor Test environment via the B2B Channel.

This service degradation commenced at 8:30AM Monday 3 August 2020 (AEST) and services were restored at 10:00AM Monday 3 August 2020 (AEST).

Developer Support will continue to be responsible for the Health Systems Developer Portal and can assist you with:

  • portal registrations
  • seeking test data to begin development, and
  • seeking production access for applications on completion of certification testing.

We will also continue to send business communications relating to Services Australia programs and the availability of ICT systems.

During this change window, a critical patch will be applied to the SVT environment and will require a 30-minute outage for mobile applications at the conclusion of the change, from approximately 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM (AEDT) Thursday 2 April 2020. All functionality of the SVT environment will otherwise remain available throughout the duration of this window. This change does not require a change to vendor products.

The My Health Record System Operator advises there will be planned maintenance to the My Health Record system Software Vendor Test (SVT) environment during the following windows:

Saturday 28 March 2020 from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (AEDT)

During this change window, a critical patch will be applied to the SVT environment and will require a 3.5-hour outage from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (AEDT) Saturday 28 March 2020 where vendors will not be able to connect to the My Health Record SVT environment. This change does not require a change to vendor products.

My Health Record R11 System Upgrade + B2B and Mobile Gateway SSL Certificate Renewal - SVT Environment 

The My Health Record System Operator advises there will be a planned upgrade to the My Health Record system Software Vendor Test (SVT) environment from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM (AEDT) Tuesday 17 March 2020. During this change window, the SVT environment will be upgraded to the latest codebase of the My Health Record system Release 11 Upgrade. All functionality of the SVT environment will remain available.

Before the conclusion of the change, there will be a 30-minute outage for mobile applications. This outage will commence at approximately 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM (AEDT) on Tuesday 17 March 2020. Please note, the environment upgrade is outside of the advertised available hours for the SVT environment.

Release 11 of the My Health Record system is focussed on delivering Functional and Technical enhancements including enabling the upload and access of Goals of Care documents and Medicines View Enhancements. This change does not require a change to vendor products. 

In addition to the R11 System Upgrade, there will be a My Health Record B2B and Mobile Gateway SSL Certificate update to the SVT My Health Record system certificates below.

Action may be required by vendors of software that connect to My Health Record System SVT environment to ensure communication with the My Health Record System B2B and Mobility gateway will not be affected by the change.

To assess if your software product could be impacted by the renewal of the My Health Record B2B or Mobile Gateway SSL certificate, you should clarify the following:

  • Is your product explicitly configured to trust the My Health Record B2B or Mobile Gateway SSL certificates issued above?

If you answered “YES”, you will be required to trust the renewed certificate. Please contact us for the renewed certificate.

Technical Notice of My Health Record Gateway Certificate Renewal

The SVT My Health Record systems will be renewing their Secured Socket Layer (SSL) certificate.

If any software vendor has chosen to implement explicit trust against an instance of the My Health Record B2B or Mobility Gateway SSL certificate, there is a risk that the SSL certificate validation flow may fail under the following situations:

  • The software explicitly trusts a particular instance of the My Health Record SSL certificate; or
  • My Health Record B2B or Mobility Gateway SSL certificate has been renewed but the vendor trust store has not been updated.

Services Australia: System degradation to Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service PRODUCTION environment 

Services Australia would like to advise that the Healthcare Identifiers (HI) Service PRODUCTION environment experienced a degradation of service between 15:55pm AEDT and 18:05 pm AEDT on Wednesday 5 February 2020.

The My Health Record System Operator advises there will be a planned upgrade to the My Health Record system Software Vendor Test (SVT) environment from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM Monday, 6 January, 2020 (AEDT).

During this change window, the SVT environment will be realigned to the latest codebase in preparation for My Health Record system Release 11.

Release 11 of the My Health Record system is focussed on delivering Functional and Technical enhancements including enabling the upload and access of Goals of Care documents and Medicines View Enhancements. This change does not require a change to vendor products. Please see the attached Release Note* for more information. (*Updated 10 January, 2020) 

Please note, all functionality of the SVT environment will remain available during this window. The environment upgrade has also been scheduled outside the advertised available hours for the SVT environment to minimise any potential impact.

My Health Record SVT Christmas and New Year period - 20 December 2019

The My Health Record System Operator advises that between 5:30PM Friday 20 December 2019 and 8:30AM Monday 6 January 2019 (AEDT) there will be limited support available to vendors:

  • The environment will remain available and fully supported Monday to Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM (AEDT) throughout this window except on Public Holidays (25-26 December 2019 and 1 January 2020). Please note, vendors will still be able to access the environment on Public Holidays, however any environment issues occurring on these days will be resolved the next business day.
  • Some My Health Record services may not be available due to HI Vendor Availability during this window.
  • New service requests will not be supported during this window.

Full support will resume from 8:30AM Monday 6 January 2019 (AEDT).

My Health Record R10.2.2 SVT Patch System Upgrade - Rescheduled to (7 Dec 2019 - 7.30pm AEDT)

The My Health Record System Operator advises the planned upgrade to Release 10.2.2 of the My Health Record system Production Environment has been rescheduled to occur from 7:30PM (AEDT) Saturday 7 December 2019 to 3:30AM (AEDT) Sunday 8 December 2019.

During this period, there will be a restricted-write period from 8:00PM (AEDT) Saturday 7 December to 1:00AM (AEDT) Sunday 8 December.

During the restricted-write period, the My Health Record system, including connecting mobile applications, will be available to access My Health Record functionalities including some write transactions.

The following subset of write transactions to the My Health Record System will be disabled:

  • Linking a myGov account to My Health Record
  • Linking a PRODA account to National Provider Portal
  • Resetting password and ULC linking via Admin Portal
  • New Care Agency employee registration
  • Notify Account Change (NAC) flow

Before the Restricted Write period ends, there will be a 30-minute outage for mobile applications from 12:30 AM (AEDT) to approximately 1:00 AM (AEDT) on Sunday 8 December 2019.

Release 10.2.2 of the My Health Record system is focussed on delivering technical and infrastructure patches and upgrades to align it to the latest versions and address any known security vulnerabilities. This change does not require a change to vendor products.


My Health Record - Software Vendor Test (SVT) Environment - degradation - 18 Nov 2019

The System Operator would like to advise that the My Health Record system Software Vendor Test environment experienced a degradation of service and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This service degradation commenced at 10:10am on Monday 18 November 2019 (AEDT) and services were restored at 12:04pm Monday 18 November 2019 (AEDT).

During the degradation of service, software vendors would have experienced errors when performing upload document transactions in the Software Vendor Test environment.
